Theme Song: Runnin’ | Pharrell Williams (Hidden Figures Soundtrack)
Ok, I have a confession to make. I’m obsessed with (sun)glasses! It’s been a thing since I was a kid. Every woman in my family has always worn stylish eyewear – glasses or shades. I think my grandmothers knew long before most that you don’t have to sacrifice fashion for practicality, whether protecting your eyes from harsh UV rays or reading the daily newspaper, they were always in style. It rubbed off on me at some point, probably around the time I had my first eye exam. I’m nearsighted and pretty much blind as a bat! 20+ years later, sunnies and frames have a soft spot in my heart.
Enter “The Perfect Pair”, a semi-regular blog post edition showcasing eyewear styles I’m feeling and those you might be feeling too! I’m all for high-low options so each pair we’ll range in price. First up: Edition 001

Summer is over (even in Texas) but it doesn’t mean you have to throw aside the rosé or all white! Let your shades take you back to warmer days as you countdown to the next beach holiday.
1.  ZERO UV $10.95   2. QUAY AUSTRALIA $55  3. WARBY PARKER X LEITH CLARK $145  4. DITA $475

P.S. Peep one of my favorite Taraji P. Henson scenes from Hidden Figures, about what else, glasses and the women who wear them!
