We have less than two weeks until this baby is scheduled to arrive! Time has really flown by! As we continue counting down until delivery day, I’ll try to share a little more about this pregnancy and some of the things we’ve done to prepare for this little one! Today, I’m sharing my maternity photos (shot at 32 weeks). Love how they came out!
I knew I wanted to capture my growing belly with some professional maternity photos but didn’t want to do your typical shoot. I scoured the internet looking for inspiration but nothing seemed to scream out to me! Honestly, I was so busy trying to get baby’s nursery together while in the “burst of energy” 2nd trimester that the shoot was the last thing on my mind. But alas, the planner in me had to pull it together!
I scheduled my loc appointment (Isis of Libra Lounge) and makeup application (Desiree Phillips MUA). Found a blank canvas and natural light studio (The Lumen Room). Our dear friend, Temi Coker, agreed to shoot! My girlfriends helped me pull together some looks – pssttt that jumpsuit gave me all the LIFE to LIVE!

For the first look, I wore a metallic jumpsuit and pewter ankle boots with mirrored detail on the heels. Kept the accessories super simple with matte black drop earrings for a 70s disco feel. I think of both looks this one was the most fun and unexpected! Shouts to the girls for encouraging this preggo lady to even try it!

I went with an dark green wrap dress with nude open toe heels and gold hoops! I guess both looks pay a little homage to the 70s as did my dress I wore for our baby shower!
